Sievert's out for Sievert. Nothing else.

Since this is just business and how business works I'd imagine they won't take it personal for those who voice the OPs sentiment. We were in a work environment who encouraged employees to "bleed magenta." They wanted us to see our job as more then just a job and to take it personal. This got them more results. So give the OP a break for a moment, they are realizing the lie sold to them.

"It’s not personal until it’s you. And have a heart man. People got laid off today. Go drink your Kool-Aid in the corner."

Trust me my friend, I did get hit, and accepted it knowing that it is just part of the business shrugs.

“Everything is a business decision, no way is it personal.”

Mike seivert is a sociopath or psychopath. He has no empathy. Met the dude 8 years ago and wasn’t impressed.

Did anyone see him on CNBC just now? He was pretty nonchalant and unemotional about layoffs.

I have no issue with vaccination policies. What I do have a problem is them just being a sneaky way of laying off people, and we know this because there were some positions in the company that were exempt from having it. Either everyone has to get it, or no one. Also he isn't a leader. He puts his face in token projects and wears a fake grin in everything, but behind the scenes doesn't care jack about any of the employees. He's also the highest paid CEO in wireless while doing nothing but riding the coattails of Legere.

Maybe Legere was full of hot air, but the man made trips to the frontlines and did actually listen to employees while he was here. He also did a he-l of a lot better than Sievert of trying to make our jobs easier, whereas Sievert only cares about where the stock price is.

Hope his yacht capsizes and he forgets how to swim.

Such potty language. I can emphasize with the frustration of layoffs, but bad language reflects poorly on those who use it (even when they post anonymously).

People have choices. Sievert is the leader, and he consistently lied and made bad decisions on behalf of the employees, starting with vax mandates. He makes the big bucks. He gets the blame.

  • why do people say things like this? Everything is a business decision, no way is it personal. Someone in a different thread summarized it perfectly - that working for a large corporation means we're just a number, and part of that is accepting our roles knowing that layoffs could happen to any one of us.
