Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The site is beginning to be like a broken record

this site with the DXC is a broken record the executives all get nice merit increases stock options for free, and the rank and file get nothing blah blah blah, blah blah over and over again

Can’t you people that still work there do a slow down a protest strike post on glassdoor LinkedIn. Every other site you could think of to get the people to take notice

Once it’s public or more public, the Dixie doesn’t take care of their employees and they’re lying cheats the better it will be for us employees

I have never known a more demotivated workforce.
DXC made great play about how they were changing the culture, and how a key priority was that we should all keep our promises. This has been followed by years of broken promises, and the universal feeling amongst colleagues is that 'going that extra mile' just isn't worth it.
Senior management have created a 9-5 workforce that does what is asked and no more.
It's not a formula for growth or even stability. I fear that the critical minimal mass of staff has now been reached through cuts, every dollar has been squeezed out at the top, and the decline will now be rapid.
The company desperately needs experienced and knowledgeable skilled employees, but they have either all left or are just serving their time. We have a large percentage of disenfranchised staff, a large percentage of new staff, but nothing in the middle.

Yes, most of the European b-ms have got great job security by way of wfr compensation and they are all waiting for that. ... and keep posting here.

It's the same guy repeating the same message over and over again this message board is flooded by Brett's and hardly anybody from America and the site is censored by dxc

So in the end this site is worthless there's no freedom of speech

There are no legitimate grievances. All is well, we are making progress. It is a tough market and huge competition from the Indian pure plays. We are right sizing the workforce, re skilling the talent pool, sorting out the labour pyramid and increasing our go to market offerings. We have ton of people in EMEA and other high cost locations.

So lets break this series of statements down to outright untruths or delusions, and those parts that contain a glimmer of truth or accuracy.

  • Delusional statements: There are no legitimate grievances

All is well
we are making progress
We are right sizing the workforce
re skilling the talent pool
sorting out the labour pyramid
increasing our go to market offerings

  • Partially accurate/true: It is a tough market

huge competition from the Indian pure plays
We have ton of people in EMEA and other high cost locations (although vastly less than previously hence inability to deliver existing business or win new business in these locations)

So I make that 7 untruths or ChatGPT hallucinations in one response. The poster should be giving DXC analyst presentations :-)

Agreed as an outsider it makes me wonder if this is just a vocal minority. Don't get me wrong I belive there are legitimate grievances. But when you ask for some details the posts here fall apart and I've even seen a few lies. On one hand what do I expect from an anonymous forum? Hard to take anyone seriously here.
