People need to understand that when Intel announces they just agreed to contract with TSMC that means intel fabs are obsolete. Yes..you should be scared.

Those TD guys have always been arrogant. Now they are 4 years behind and they are told they better strap on the big boy pants and cut costs and wins some big customers or look for a pink slip in the interplant mail envelope.

They kind of have it coming.

Are there 30K total heads in TD, maybe more like 15K and what a failure they have been m.

But agreed 30K is minimum to right size Intel. Remember their revenue will be south of 60B and Nvidia will eclipse them in 2024 as well TSMC and the two combined have fewer beads yet twice the revenue.
