Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Text about change in T-mobile benefits. Did my husband get laid off?

My husband got a text message today from T-Mobile saying there was a change in his benefits and it refered him to an external "t-mobile" secure website to enter his log in info. He hasn't been told hes laid off and no one else on his team got this text.

Did anyone who was already laid off get a similar text?

He was able to log into his work accounts.

I was laid off last year, and no longer have TMO as a carrier. I just got that text too. I didn't click it, because I figured they either had a glitch or were doing another round. Shrugs.

Anyone d-mb enough to fall for this isn’t capable of functioning in today’s society.

Ohhh boy. That's a Scam big-time. He'll never be contacted by a text, do not click on anything. Hope we're not going to see another data breach

It’s a phishing attempt to get his credentials. Do not open it. Has nothing to do with layoffs.
