Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Human Resource Timing

What do you all think is the plan for the remaining CEC HR staff. Week? Or would they possibly go right after Ulf's changes complete.

How can an entire HR org be let go? I am worried that those whonare left and have a large number of years invested in TMO won't get a decent package if any at all down the line. I think more layoffs coming.

I too never understood how "human" resources ended up being a damn PDL. That's the stupidest $hit ever. Someone was telling "people mgrs" have no "person" to talk to. LMAO...

Deanne will be shown the door. She's legacy Sprint, and the CEO was clever to keep her around to be a scapegoat. She can be jettisoned to placate the TMO true believers, and the CEO can then show faux empathy for the employees during this challenging period of the supercharged un-carrier journey.
As long as Deanne's stock is all immediately vested, she will in all likelihood be very relieved to be set free.

Deeanne ORG will be the last to go, someone has to process all the RIFS. Use us then get rid of us.

HR became irrelevant when they were directed to stop speaking to people and to stop attending meetings. Next, they became ticket workers in the shadows most working remote. Now, they are useful to lay people off.

Once that work is done, they will be gone too along with many other things.

Look for your benefits to be reduced, your support to be outsourced and for many career development programs to go away.

It’s been said that all of HR will go in the same day. So, those reporting up through Deeanne King likely won’t hear anything for 2-3 more weeks (most likely the last org to go).
