There was some email about validating your address if you are remote to add some more security and that they are shipping smething. Did anyone receive anythig ? or was it in preparation for layoff

Are remote folks given the option to relocate or resign or relocate or and take a severance?
Yes. Received the email and didn't receive anything. Makes sense that they're waiting until they know who is and isn't being impacted.
It’s definitely for the dongle. 4 remote folks on my team were not impacted, I was, we all got that same e-mail. Also others in facilities and real estate managers (regionally remote employees) got the e-mail and we’re not impacted.
No mail received as of yet. I’m pretty confident it was for a YubiKey. But perhaps they’re postponing till after the layoffs
Can't see laptop collection being that urgent that they would need to verify addresses weeks in advance for remote folks. Or if they sent that only to impacted employees it would be extremely sh---y.
It was to send the security dongle thing. They might have realized they don't want to send them out until they know who is staying so they paused until later.
Probably the postage paid shipping box to send back your badge and laptop. We were told we'd be getting those in the layoff conversations.
