I would wager that the "additional 60 days pay" qualifies as the notification requirement.
Supposedly an entry needs to be made for each day that a layoff was made. I doubt it 400 for Bellevue.
That 401 was last week's number for Cyber and others. I'll guess the number wlll be larger next week
401 seems low for what is going on in Bellevue and other offices in the area. Is that just this week? I was told by a higher up, that after this, they are going to continue to do whatever they can to send jobs to KC, or other places that cost less to employee than the Seattle area.
They responded to me initially and said they were surprised. One hour later, they emailed me again that TMO will be releasing something to them end of day and thanks. T-Mobile will need to do this for each day of the layoffs if it’s staggered. If they have questions, look at what Microsoft did.

You don't think ESD KNEW that T-Mobile were laying off people? They do have stats on people applying for unemployment because of LAYOFFS from T-MOBILE.

There are 3 required steps for WARN. Step 1 give employee 60 days notice. Step 2 notify ESD so they can be prepare resources. Step 3 notify the leader where they pay the most taxes. Step 1 was finished. They only posted because I notified ESD and told them that TMO has been laying people off for 3 years without notifying.
Do people really think they're going to find a "gotchya" moment against T-Mobile on this? They've already scrubbed through labor laws and all that stuff way in advance with a room full of their lawyers. You're not going to change the inevitable, yes it su-ks but just being realistic.

I guess I'm missing the whole WARN act issue. T-Mobile is complying with the WARN act by giving you two months of pay to sit at home before you're officially laid off. The fact that they haven't noticed the labor department is an "eh, who cares". That notice to the labor department, per the labor department website, basically states they do nothing with that data, other than offer placement and training services...basically the same thing T-Mobile gives you.
Not sure how that "skirts" WARN. It complies with it because they are paying you and leaving benefit intact for 60 days.
Debate away about how bad the severance is outside of that, or how shadily TMUS words that 60 days of pay, by all means...
This is why they are paying 60 days on top of severance. to skurt around the WARN act.
I’m pretty sure that’s the total WARN notice for WA state for these layoffs. 401 people affected total.
Says 401 employees from Bellevue got their notices on 8/25
