I’m positive we are the next ones to go, it doesn’t matter if you are a high performer, we are going to be next.
What have you heard?

In our department lots of people in the dark about their remote status. With it being so close to End of Year and still a 15% to be laid off via “performance” reviews. You are going to see mass layoffs for people kept in the dark for remote exemptions. C1 is just trying to cut heads in almost every area.
So if you’re close to a hub don’t worry about fully remote. Talked with a VP recently and they said they would always give a remote employee the opportunity to become hybrid before laying anyone off.
Most remote workers are remote in-market so they’d have the ability to become hybrid if they want
Got PIPd from mid-years. Leaving with a decent severance in 2 months. It's 12 weeks pay for most associate roles. Remote Software Engineer. They're slicing 15%. Going to happen again at EOY for anyone that doesn't meet the ever-increasing bar. Just wait for it to happen if you have any doubt you won't make the bar. Talk with your manager every week if you truly want to maintain your performance.
LOL. All the directors and above all the way to SVP level now have to commute hard or relocate and pay out of their pockets. Sounds fair GOOD!!!
What did your friends say in HR? And what’s leadership announcing and when? Please share. Thanks
Recruiting was hit hard this week and majority of the layoffs came form Card.
I’m a remote employee and I wish there was a hub close to me, because I actually do enjoy going to the office. I just don’t have an option to go now due to the distance.
And would it include the VP+? FS Tech alone has over 3 executives including the CTO who are remote.
The worst is yet to come! Hearing Card will get hit hardest.
Remote work is next, announcements coming from leadership. My friends in HR said it'll be pretty bad Year End.
Full remote employees not working in a hub is an excuse to fire. BUT there are too many of them around.
