Remote workers are being targeted

At least that's what it feels like.

They are letting go of ALL remote workers. T-Mobile is saying specifically relocate to office or lose job and have some small money .

If you were not in office minimum 3 days as per policy, then you are at the top of the list for cuts.
Praying for the package. Done with this company. No idea how to deliver so keep reorganizing hoping it will solve the problem.

I have staid in the top 10-20% of my entire site, working remote. It’s called being a generation xer. We don’t need fu----g fluff and in person warm and fuzzies to get sh-t done. We were left at home like ferral animals to fend for ourselves and raise siblings. Just leave me tf alone so i can do my job. Only weak fu-ktwats think remote don’t do sh-t on their calls. Okay, I folded laundry and unloaded the dishes during the long available time between calls and yeah, put my cx on mute to yell at the puppy I adopted that someone dumped in my woods. I also corrected my support team once again on fu----g sh-t they should have right. It’s pointless reaching out to leadership for help when i do better fu----g work than them. Those saying wfh remote don’t work hard are fu-ktwat a--holes who probably had a helicopter mommy and was spoon fed till they were 15.

Remote is not productive, we need office workers. People half paying attention on calls is not the future.

In person collaboration. I would offer people the option to move close to RBOs, before replacing them. Good luck everyone.

If you’re remote, you’re part of the bloat.

In Nestors org, it was a primary consideration. At first they were discussing removing bonus participation for remotes, but then they turned up the heat to broil with "count badge swipes" The law now is three days a week in the office.

Remote was a possible thing to look at when making the ax choice. Fully remote employees will remain. If you are doing your job at full potential with no performance issues, you should be safe.

I guess this also depends on the definition of Remote. Are we talking the full remote people is other states that are far from HQs or the people who commute from time to time?

The fully WFH people are definitely being looked at very closely for cuts. It makes no sense to me.

Yes. Can confirm, though this is somewhat half true. Remote worker here. They're asking WFH/Remote workers to relocate to areas with TMO campuses. At this point they're basically making note of the people who are and aren't willing to relocate.

Not true. None of remote workers in my team are impacted. Two office workers including me, out of seven are gone

Not sure this whole remote target is true. 3 remote workers on my team and 2 HQ stayed. Myself (remote) and 3 others (HQ based) were let go.
