STOP USING ABBREVIATIONS

Most of us are only familiar with our small corner of the company and don’t know what all the abbreviations mean for different organizations. Could we try to spell everything out to better keep track of who’s been hit?

Team and organization acronyms change so much, I don't think a lot of people know what they work in. They know them as "Engineering" not "TSD&O" or whatever it is. And all the Outlook lists that start with "NTM" are just asinine.

Only the clueless "leaders" refer to them by words that don't have any meaning to real people.

Organization abbreviations are meaningless outside of that silo.

If you don’t know or can’t look up the org, it’s not for you to know!

As you can see, people are funny. On a serious note, if you don't know the acronym for a group, you likely won't know what the group does, even if it's spelled out. Just know that this is an enterprise wide reduction, so almost every organization will be impacted to some degree. You won't know most of the orgs or people mentioned on here. We're a large company with many functions required to make it all happen.

Agreed, way too many acronyms, it wouldn't take that much energy to just type it out once within the comment/post. Doesn't have to be every time.
