Check out Kate Johnson's post in LinkedIn on the Path to Disruption. This cannot be good for us employees though Kate says otherwise. I was surprised but not shocked that she hasn't sent this out as a company announcement. This marketing slogan seems to be directed at investors.

CenturyTel had the wireless back in early 2000's. So did AllTel.
Both had to sell or go broke. Two big players were ready to pounce on CenturyTel and AllTel.
Disrupting the telecom industry... Just another stupid catch phrase that the STL is trying to run up the flag pole and see who salutes it, just like the fourth industrial revolution bs.
Reads like the cowboy slogan, all hat, no cattle. 1) they have no wireless service (sold that off decades ago), 2) Most businesses have move to WFH. That leaves datacenters and pipes as the only source of revenue. Maybe a little clarity is needed for the vision.
