AFAIK the WARN act doesn't apply if sending on paid gardening leave, meaning for the 60 day period you are still being paid and covered by healthcare.

A person who worked for a company previously acquired by AVGO was eager to share that the day the merger was complete some people were informed their old company no longer existed and they weren’t AVGO employees.
