These huge layoffs scream out that the CEO is really struggling to handle the company's finances and predict expenses. This should be a cause of embarrassment for him, not a point of pride for "handling the costs" or whatever he keeps telling himself. This is all on him and his incompetence.

This was the plan. Mike told us. He knew about 3 1/2 years in he would be able to lay off big numbers. So Legere and Mike were loud about 3 year promises
DT is VZ/T of Europe, did anyone really think we'd end up any differently than they are except that we were a petri dish experiment when Legere put more spin on culture?
Company culture was just something established to make taking the pill go smoother.
DT leadership is also obsessed with trying to figure out how TMUS fleeced their people well enough to build "culture".
Don't be a di-k
I'd offer that this has always been part of the plan and this company will actually thrive financially in the coming years. It will just do so at the expense of a really great people positive culture and will lose some fantastic employees. The truth is we're just becoming like every other company in the industry and it honestly su-ks to say that, but that's where we're at.
