I received an email yesterday to sign COI form, email is very unclear and confusing in that it says something like you have something like 30 days once its required etc. Its not available in onesource and you have to create a request yourself to add it to your onesource in order to sign it.
Is it mandatory for all? Why is there no deadline or dates in communication?
The workflow that they use to push the COI disclosure out is poorly designed and can be very confusing - especially depending how you were notified. But it is a standard requirement that is indeed legal. It's just one of those things that you have to do at pretty much any big company.
It's legit. I just filled mine out last week. It's a 2 step process: 1. acknowledge the email. 2 follow the links and answer the questions.
