Alumni Benefit

In Sievert email, they mention alumni benefit for discount on rate plan. Anyone have details?

They're offering that alumni benefit so they don't lose your money when they promote you to customer. I have over 5 lines on my account, I'm guessing that most employees also have a lot. If they let you go, take your money with you.

Anyone leaving should switch services as well. They are only offering the discount so there is less loss in customers for the stock price. The same reason you were let go. Don’t give them the benefit of keeping anything with them if you can.

I'm still an employee at the moment and I have been paying full price to another carrier because of the numerous data breaches. I'm happy to pay full price elsewhere just so long as it's not T-Mobile. This company gets not another penny from me, my family, or friends. It's just a job that still pays me for now.

If impacted, I will rather pay more to another carrier than giving my money to T-Mobile.

We give away so many free lines and I’ve picked up 3 for my kids when they get older, so I’m staying with T-Mobile until they take those away. Can’t beat 5 unlimited lines with perks for $75 after the alumni discount.

It must be new. I left a few months ago, worked there 15 years, and as soon as I quit, I received a brief note telling me that my discount would evaporate in the next billing cycle. A nice, don't let the door hit your a** on the way out communication.

I was on the Sprint employee plan until the naughty list was created, about a year or so ago? I ported out then vs migrate. Without hesitation.

Never had a Sprint data issue. No issue with new carrier. Didn't care to sign up and allow T-Mobile to monetize, breach or who knows what with my data or bank account (for payment). That was a he-l no.

Don't do it! The next T-Mobile data breach is just around the corner. 5000 people are losing their jobs. Someone will retaliate.
