They couldn't have laid off 5k people in two days. I think next week will be just as bad, if not worse than this one.

Do like I am. Overestimate by at least 2 weeks any task that you have to do. And then when you're not done after 2 weeks estimate another 2 weeks.

Since the layoff rumors started about a month ago, no one on my team has given two sh--s about work. They need to rip the bandaid and let the healing process/reorg begin prior to October. 60 days pay plus end year insurance will be on the books by end of FY2023
