Terrible policy nowhere near reaching fruition. So much pain yet to come. You all supported these policies. You'll all have to deal with the consequences. Have a nice day.

I’d bet money it will be across all groups because they are not smart enough to make informed decisions on where to cut. And if they were smart enough they are too lazy to think that hard

Look on the bright side. Probably the best time to be laid off assuming payout in Jan. Dodge a huge tax hit! I guess that's only for large package people like me. LOL. The rest of you save your money!

Hello, will Singapore be affected coming november RIF?

Boy I sure hope they are not planning across the board cuts again. Our dept is already stretched thin and we are way too busy to be losing anymore. They should be looking at shutting down half-dormant facilities at this point. It's unforgivable to keep SSDC open, just because the Singapore govt has invested in the past, while continually piling work on stressed groups in the US.

There are a number of employees with very LOW morale, and waiting for the package. It’s time to kick those people out. Let them join UPS.

I’d—t Detector, Yikes take a deep breath Buddy. Let’s look at things from historical perspective for a minute. November has been a very consistent time period for Seagate to have RIF’s in the past. Our current financial situation is still less than optimal. While I have only heard November rumors for a while now my guess is that a November action is highly likely. I for one have grown fond of the pungent smell ineffectual leadership, cronyism, with a small pinch of nepotism. But then each person is different and I would hate to have to leave.

Sure, why don't you just pick a date out of your a__ and pretend you know something. Absolutely zero context and zero evidence. At this stage it can't even be counted as a rumor.
