I just read an NPR story about the T-Mobile layoffs and it's all eerily similar to what just happened to us at CVS Health.
So similar, in fact, that I feel the need to apologize to T-Mobile employees on behalf of my company's CEO. You see, it's become clear to us at CVS that GigaKaren has normalized this heinous method of performing layoffs.
Forcing folks to sit on edge for weeks at a time, waiting to hear whether they'll have a house over their heads in six months, and demanding the utmost productivity in the meantime, is nothing more than a human rights abuse.
I'm sorry to you all, whether your job is eliminated or not, for the insanely abusive path corporate America has jerked the car onto.
Eat the rich.
