Peacock will not change it. This is not about culture. This is not about happy employees. This is strictly about narcissistic Peacock having control over employees. If it was anything other than that why is he making people who have been remote for 10 years come into the office. This is about control plain and simple. (And to drive attention) He will not back off for four days because that will make him look weak.
A true hybrid is 2 days in office, not 3. Wayne wants everyone in 3 days, and is using the 4 days in January to make everyone “appreciate” the current 3 days RTO starting in a few days. Then at the December employee meeting, he’ll say “after hearing all the feedback, we’ll be staying at 3 days,” then the audience will applaud and give a standing ovation, and Wayne will have his stupid grin and be thinking, “got you b_tches, got you to like the 3 days.” Then at the Holiday party a week later, the kool-aid drinkers will flock to him for pictures.
