Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Is it possible to share this link in Pulse while maintaining anonymity?

What better way for EMGs to actually see and read how employees really feel.

May I suggest posting the link within the #waynesworld slack channel?

The pulse surveys say they can look up your identity in case there is a threat or violation of some kind that justifies breaking confidentiality.

But….that means they CAN get around anonymity if they want to abuse that, it’s not truly anonymous. Are there any controls in place to prevent unscrupulous executives from targeting employees? Even if there are, do they apply to Wayne and other top level execs, or can they easily bypass if they want?

Remember that they fired the whistleblower in compliance who said we were misleading regulators. That’s what management really thinks about airing any dirty company laundry publicly, even if you don’t breach confidentiality.

Just to put some people's minds at ease... if you are at home using your BYOD phone, they can't see the sites you browse. Having said that, if you browse this site on your phone at home, forget about it, then open your browser at USAA and the page loads, at least in that case they can see that you've browsed.

The MDM (Mobile Device Management) profile USAA uses, at least on iPhones, gives them the ability to remotely wipe your phone; lock your phone; add/remove software; list network information such as the WiFi you're connected to, if you're on a VPN, who your network provider is, and things of that sort. They cannot see your browser history or the sites you are visiting if you visit them at home or using your cellular data. They also can't read your texts or emails. There's simply no MDM configuration that allows that. Again, this is true for iPhones. I don't have an Android so can't speak to that, but assume it's the same.

EMG already knows about this place

And anything you do on company hardware (or even any of your hardware with any company software on it - like a BYOD device, or any device using company wifi, etc.) should be treated as if it is bugged 24/7

Bad idea for a couple reasons. They already know about this site and have referenced it many times. If you do share it then you will become a target and they will eventually find a way to fire you.
