Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Dept/org/location layoff check in. (Be serious)

Alright, folks,

The layoff of 5K employees will impact many organizations and locations. Being in a vacuum su-ks.

If you/your group gets impacted, would you mind sharing your org and location?

Yeah, says the CEC Director is going to roll out Training, RP and Ops Support cuts is pretty misinformed. The departments could be impacted, especially if consolidation in Consumer Group happens.

Training and RP don’t roll up to a CEC director.

"My Director at my CEC came back from PTO early and was in meetings all morning with HR. It looks like training, Resource Planning and Operations may be on the chopping block."

The departments as a whole? Many Ops and RP departments have already been cut super thin already.

On what basis would you sue? They've spun it as that they've added jobs, which by their definition, they have. They never said "net". Also, I believe they only promised that for the first three years (so through 4/1/23).

Mergers are rarely about talent acquisition. We bought Sprint for the assets.

Would it even be worth it to start a class action lawsuit ? The merger promised jobs will be added. No one wants to worry about holidays coming and being unemployed. We could have just kept magenta rather than merging with yellow if all this was going to happen. Good grief.

It was said Frontline wouldn't be effected. I'm assuming you're meaning Atlanta TFB call center?
