Are layoffs done really? Looks like some resource is moving to India... How about China?

China GM has left and joined Waters. Not likely they are going to get a new one soon.
Now the new CEO will do the cleaning.
My understanding is that toxic environment will not be changed soon unless middle management is purged. They are hidden leeches raised by former board chair and CEO.
My understanding is that layoffs are complete and can re-focus at work . What are your thoughts ?
Australian bosses in APAC hate Japanese/Singaporean/Chinese and love Indian now.
In the long term, China will be cut down given the current Sino-US relations and on-going anti-corruption compaign targeting healthcare there (not mentioning the fierce completion from MGI).
Saw that as well, I think (thought) they were reporting on the last layoff's in July, not another round in August
