How many pregnant women were laid off? I know of several. There was one thread that showed a woman 2 weeks from her due date was laid off. Others that I know of were in their 3rd trimester when laid off.
How many staff laid off that were over 50 and over 15 yrs with the company?
This company is screwing employees on so many levels.

Concerns are valid. Those that don’t see it, should look at their misogyny. I remember this post that didn’t really make the mainstream news cycle. When push comes to shove, like during Covid, women take the hit. Especially when it comes to family responsibilities.

You’re an id--t. It’s not illegal to lay off pregnant women. As a woman who is not and never will be pregnant, why do you think your job is more important than mine? FYI, I was laid off (again, a non pregnant woman) in Optum RX after 9 years, 5 star map reviews and top in my department. Optum su-ks just like this post. Get over yourself.

All the time, I had Covid 3 times and they did nothing for me. Because I didn't work in the office. The give zero F's about the employee.

I have to list my disability electronically in my profile because my manager is clueless on how to interact and build rapport with their staff. Boss has no idea if I am married, have children or work a second job at the same time.

The worst outcome is that to balance out the number of experienced workers who are being RIF'ed there are roughly an equal number of younger workers who are indiscriminately laid off to balance the scales. Completely unethical.
