How the company treats its employees will determine the fate of the company. Making sure employees feel like they matter can make a huge difference in productivity and results. Seagate not caring about employees and how we're feeling will only serve to destroy the company further. Mark my words.

Wrong. It’s about keeping the HAMR myth alive. Why else do you think they sell it with a disc fail proof system? Think. It obviously isn’t 100% reliable. They want people to pay for capacity at scale, and not to offer refunds on failing drives. If the FAANG folks are smart they will buy from our competitors.
"will only serve to destroy the company further."
There is no "further" at this point. They destroyed it the day they decided to switch the key objectives to dividends and debt as a business plan.
Statement is true for growth companies but end of life companies
that mindset shifted decades ago when stock based compensated focused CEO's on stockholders, aka stakeholders to make others feel good, like employees We're nothing but instruments of the system exchanging our output. for a paycheck The choice one makes is their willingness to accept the environment that system provides or seek an alternative environment
Correct. Look what happened to General Electric.
Surely you jest! It's the shareholders! That's why they get prioritized above all else.
