The menial jobs of claims processors, adjusters, and agency support have been off shored and sold to vendors. Isn’t this close to hiring serf class workers ? I don’t think we are doing the proper thing for inclusive diversity by creating a caste system. More jobs need to go to the serfs or they need to come back to the USA . I think the former is the plan. Globalization has ruined the American economy and Allstate is lapping it up The top brass at Allstate are nothing more than serf owners now.

Tommy can't retire until his dreams of being some sort of "Titan of Industry" are cemented in history for transforming the insurance world into some sort of data company that has insurance as a side gig to gather and sell information on their customers...
Unfortunately for all those here... it's going to be a bumpy ride of bad claims service, changing directions and comp plans and lack of support while being told they love and support us...
F*** DEI.
The problem with "menial tasks" being sent overseas is that many times those tasks are cleared, and not done. And the flak hits the master file handler, not the nameless task clearer.
Ok one post was someone from India using the word hence, USA worker’s don’t say this !! If you are in India it does not affect you!!
Those “menial” jobs could have been done by less skilled American workers but now we have all of them sleeping on our streets doing dr-gs while you have away jobs just so you could get richer. Great job TW of creating American jobs in Chicago. Take your globalization and shove it. You followed a path that leads to nothing for your countrymen. You and the BOD are part of the ruination of America.
I really don't think Tom cares at this point. The man has been overpaid tens of millions of dollars a year to fail this company. If they term him now I think he has quite the nest egg to ride off the sunset with. He could care less if employees and investors are left holding the bag.
@oap+1oeUWJgN - I beg to differ. He's probably stressed out of his mind while trying to keep a positive face. Hence the statement, "It has been a bumpy ride, but we executed well." Every quarter we are having major losses. Its only a matter of time before the ishhh hits the fan. That could come in the form of more layoffs, a sale of the company, bankruptcy or Tom's termination.
Tommy is too busy wiping his hiney with $100 bills to worry about such articles.
The vendors where Claims functions are going are based in South Africa, Mexico, the Philippines, and of our our Allstate India partners. Very diverse if you ask me.
