We’re losing great employees in Asia as well because TR’s wages aren’t competitive. The strongest people in our teams have left for other companies,

Before all the tax programmers were laid off last year there was already issues for analysts with overseas programmers. It's become worse. Now moving support overseas is ki-ling retention. Current managers are begging senior support staff to stay. These are smart people and can see that staying gets them nothing.

The bigger picture is a bigger stock payout for the CEO, CFO, and the architect of the ongoing // wink \ change program in Zug who leads by fear. Return ATP to the gold standard says the CEO. What a cruel joke.

Yeh more layoffs. Matches the pattern of a big cull before December. There will be nobody left in the UK in a few teams and all the work will be done in India. I would like to know comparative wage bills and money saving. Hope it is worth it when customers don’t renew because quality goes down. Come on TR. See the bigger picture.

Do you mean Employee representation? If so, the employees that are picked for these type of meetings are usually employees that have drank the TR koolaid!

Like Previous post, keep documentation, especially if you’re older.

These meetings usually make for Impulse decisions, developed using bits and pieces of a the giant puzzle, put it in place nearly immediately. How these decisions play out, usually ends up costing TR a ton of money in man hours, sign on or referral bonuses, new platforms that duplicate the ones we have already have, etc.

How upper management can’t see the huge monetary loss with repeatedly changing things up, is beyond me!

Sometimes it’s best just to stop the madness, and look at what you have, what is or does, fix things that we already have or sell, etc

Is TR only a great place to work if you aren't an employee in the US, Canada, or UK? Do they at least pay their offshore teams well?

There's certainly no real growth or advancement opportunity in the US, for example!

Sounds about right. If they are last minute and HR is included then you are probably 100% correct.

It completely su-ks. I’ve been through it too as many of us here have.

Try not to take it personally. It will feel like a punch to the gut and you will experience many different emotions as you process.

If it is a notice of reduction of force sharpen your resume and put it out there ASAP. Stop doing any work and focus 100% of your time on finding your next employer.

Don’t sign anything immediately. You have time to review.

Copy any of your personal info from your machine as well just in case they pull the plug immediately. The usually don’t here but it can happen and you can be locked out right after the meeting.

Good luck. Wishing you and everyone the best.
