Yes. Corporate issued an rfp to our vendors to replace virtually all back office support and administrative roles.

I was one of the legacy Metro people that got “rehired” for my job.
The others that were placed are inept to say the least. Corp store people are clueless.
Several are on warnings of reorganization, I will take severance and go.

Didn’t they layoff 100% of Metro field staff last year?
Only rehired 4% back and replaced the rest with store people?

I suspect this is a gross misinterpretation of the intent to lay off 10% per year through 2025.

Is 50% in one go possible? Sure...

Is it likely? Not to my eye, understanding impacts to all customer-facing systems, many of which are in critical expansion/upgrade status.
