Hearing a re-org is happening to reduce layers in the organization and lean things out. Anyone know when this will happen or if there is truth? Still 1000 positions left to eliminate to get to the 1500 reductions.

September 6 will be a big day. Turning point for R&L. Focus will be on legacy Petro-Canada employees.
Sadly, we have too many directors who only manage upwards and advisors who think and see the need to prove they know it all hindering progress in Suncor
Unfortunately there’s a pressure from up levels so it’s going to be tough for all. It will be a “bumpy ride” for sure. That being said , there are few managers and directors that are not doing much and are a $ burden . We do need more “lean” org no doubt.
Gosh I hope it is true. Would love to see my Director lose his job.
