The clients are sick of it

The organisation has sleepwalked into doing things the most complicated way possible. And now it wonders why it can't make any money. It spends more time and thus money on paperwork and process than actually doing. The clients are sick of it. The paperwork is out of all proportion to the tasks being done. Yes you need PM's and TA's when you're doing a big project. But when you're just updating where a log file is saved - come on! They talked the talk on streamlining, but never followed through.

They will "back to office" and cut their way to success and then add 8 more jobs for u to do. Then turn around and complain cause u r taking too long.

Your not kidding , now NRAF’s are needed for each server or tool going into production, where before we just needed it for a project or customer network

I agree with the OP.
I am working on a migration / rollout and the paperwork and admin is a monstrosity.
NO need for all the cr8p involved.
Just let us roll out the new equipment and get the user to log on to profile it.

Don't be confused about your alternatives. Chances are you'll have multiple jobs in your career. Find a decent company to work for and hit the door. The stress and strain of that jumbled mess of a place would ki-l any normal human. RUN, FORREST, RUN!!!
