Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

I assume with all these layoffs probably could expect another year of no good pay raise?

If the RIFs were typically the lower performing employees, will HR still enforce their stupid distribution of MAP scores (where they always pressure leaders to lower map scores) despite actual performance?

It is not "UP TO". That is the target, but funding for the RRP is rarely 100%+. Then managers have discretion on how to allocate. Map=5 often gets more than target %.

RRP is a percent of your salary. 29s are UP TO 15% of income. 28s and 27s are 10%.

I have had raises of 1.5% to 7%. About 20% if I get a promo.

Pends on what area you are in. Where I am I am a supervisor and I always only ever see a 2.5% increase even as a 5 rated MAP

Merit increases have always been meager. I’m a manager and have seen raises range from 1.5% to 4%. The only way you will ever get an appreciable raise is to get a pay grade promotion. The higher the grade, the bigger the merit and RRP. The most RRP I’ve seen for grade 27 is 4500$ with 28’s in the 6500$ range. For 29’s, RRP’s in the 20-30k range. Sales or commission based are different on that some bonuses can be 15-20k.
