Let’s not forget Mick McCabe, Rick Cohen and George Ruebenson. All talented leaders, with no claim experience, that led organization to higher levels of success. They were not “ know it alls” like Glenn and Brandt.
Claims was better managed by a leader without a claim background (M. Roche) than his successors with a claim pedigree. Downhill since 2016 (Shapiro), 2018 (Rosen), and 2020 (Eric). Roche empowered his team, while Shapiro and Brandt were know it alls that would not listen. Rosen got a raw deal as he was the savior from USAA. All these failures started with poor Wilson selection process. How is Guy Hill still a power player when poor and late pricing destroy profits?
Needs to get worse. Cheryl B and Craig E need to be performance managed quickly by new leader. Karen Schecht has lost credibility in view of field team. House cleaning needed. Claims was powerhouse, now an industry embarassment. Sad, sad story that could have been avoided by promoting the right leaders who care about employees.
Things are bound to get much worse with Eric’s leadership leaving our company. This is sad.

If one has to "pursue other opportunities" then said "other opportunity" has not been sought out or obtained up to current which pretty much means he was told to hit the road.
When your EVP of Claims is cut the entire department is about to see the SHTF.

Considering most of Claims is moving to India or offshore vendor I would assume Brant's heir replacement resides in Pune or Mumbai and I would assume carries the Patel name lineage in some capacity.
Shapiro leaves last August now Brandt this September. What’s next ? Rizzo’’s face mole? Run what’s left of this dumpster fire into the ground boys and get out. Cut and run that’s what Brandt has done!
Such damage was done under Shapiro that it was inevitable Brandt would take a hit. The big question is who will replace him. What’s the guess?
