HSA Now Funds Being Moved to My HSA...Am I fired?

At 10:0 PM tonight, I received an email from Optum saying that a transaction made today exceeded my HSA balance by $211, so HSA Now funds were moved over to my HSA account.

But I did not make a transaction today, I checked my HSA and all my funds are there. And the $211 is what would be left of the company contributions through the end of the year.

Is this a warning sign?

Nope, you'll be fired. I'm certain of it. Plan ahead. Go with your gut feeling, all I have to say. They are not going to fire you, you will have to resign. This is so it saves the state and them from unemployment fees at all cost.

you are paranoid. you can invest your HSA money in index's and that is what is happening

I noticed the same thing twice. I have always set it up at same each week and was different on each. Seeing everything else, I give it either this week or next layoff to be informed. Thank you for posting and providing awareness. I second guessed and don't know why I did. I should have known that is exactly the uhg way. Whatever to dump and run.

the hsa funds are automatically moved into investing when it meets a certain amount. You can invest your hsa money

They probably fired the team that used to do the hsa programming and now the new team has to learn what happens when they push the red verses green buttons...

Sounds more like a mistake. They aren't going to give us anything extra - like what is due through the end of the year if we are RIF'd.
