Just heard from the union they were advised there were 7 known cases of Covid in the Atlanta, GA Midtown office. Keep in mind the company doesn’t have to let us know there is a Covid health threat in the office. I wear my mask , but noticed more people are wearing their masks. The union said everyone should try to be safe and wear your masks. Of course you will always have those who don’t wear them. That’s their prerogative. I’m not surprised by the surge in cases, because of the mass increase of employees coming into the office. Take care everyone!

“ I wear my mask ”
My God. How low of an IQ does one have to still think a mask works.
When I get sick I still go into the office. It's nice to share.
I don't see how a mash can work in one direction both preventing the transmission but also protecting the wearer from getting it. The microscopic holes in the mask are much larger than the size of the virus. It is like having windows open in a house without window screens, mosquitoes can get in.
There are no commercial biological tests NOW that can determine the concentration of spike proteins in ones body.
Having a sufficient level of vitamin D is important. That can be tested for.
please stop the mask nonsense.
they do not make any difference and I say they probably make things worse because germs sit on them and then you breathe the germs all day and make you sicker.
me I personally would take my chances without one and wash my hands and face more and breathe air instead of whatever is on the mask.
masks in public bathrooms are pretty gross if you wear one in a public bathroom I would not keep it on and get a new one.
I miss all the paid days off due to Covid. Due to having children at home I was given 30 paid days followed by another 30 paid days since I was labeled high risk. I told my boss I had it four times over the past couple years and received four more paid week’s paid.
Seven million people died from Covid
Are you seriously still posting about Covid? Go away.
Do we still have to get an exception to RTO on Sept 5 if we didn’t get the Vax? Or did that vax mandate policy go to the way side?
I had Covid a few weeks back. I went into the office. Three days a week is the rule.
COVID was made in China. What's next?
The mandates will be back. Next year is an election year & the cold/flu comes every year except when there’s a new variant. Call your state legislators to ban mask & jab mandates
"...Whether it was intentionally released or not is a mute point now..."
"Moot" point. Not "mute".
I bet you're the same person always talking about the low "moral" around here.
Dream on COVID-ers. Nobody cares anymore and this has no effect on RTO.
I got COVID about a month ago. I’m 37 and I had a fever and headache for about 4 days. No difficulty breathing, although a had a bit of thick mucus deep down in my lungs that I could barely feel.
No one in my office wears a mask , including me, they’re useless, just like the vaccine.
I sit in my cubicle with headphones on all day and talk to no one. Covid isn’t really a big concern of mine.
Noticed the COVID announcements have returned, with several cases reported in the office I report to. Mask mandates have returned to the office, no matter what your vaccination status.
My approach is very simple. I do what my doctor tells me to. She has saved my life more than once, and I trust her. The hostility on this thread is disheartening.
"new plandemic ready to start next month"
...just in time for election year.
The union telling you to go ahead and wear a mask if you want to isn’t advising you to do it. They are just telling you to wear one if you feel more comfortable wearing one.
Eating healthy and exercising are much more advisable than just wearing a mask that will miraculously save your from everything.
We perhaps are already in the beginnings of the inevitable reality of The Walking Dead.
Excerpts from just posted NBC news story:
“ The Food and Dr-g Administration is expected to authorize updated booster shots in the coming weeks, with CDC signoff by mid-September, CDC Director Mandy Cohen told NBC News.
Barouch said it’s too soon to tell how much protection the new shots could provide against BA.2.86, but the variant is "not a good match" for the updated boosters.
That said, experts agree that many people probably have underlying protection from severe disease already.
"It’s not like we’re going back to 2020 or 2021, where most of the world’s population actually doesn’t have any immunity to SARS-CoV-2," Bloom said. “The vast, vast majority of people in the world have either been vaccinated or infected, often both and often multiple times."
As previous post have said, not much more than the flu but big pharma wants to give you a $booster shot for the rest of your life. Get ready for the fear monger news stories.
Whether it was intentionally released or not is a mute point now, it’s how Covid is addressed going forward. Majority Population Immunity and vaccinations has happened, now the variants are more like a cold or the flu.
Time to move on and stop the paranoia, it appears those who WFH through the pandemic are those who are now freaking out with RTO. Those of us who were customer facing and deemed essential are over it.
If they ever find out who caused the release of Covid in Wuhan or anyone else that had a part of it, should be brought up on criminal charges.
Why was the movie Plandemic so quickly removed when this all started?
Is anyone freaking out about the yearly Flu? The following numbers are from the CDC:
Disease Burden of Flu | CDC
“Oct 4, 2022 CDC estimates that flu has resulted in 9 million - 41 million illnesses, 140,000 - 710,000 hospitalizations and 12,000 - 52,000 deaths annually between 2010 and 2020. “
Use caution but live your life, no-one gets out of this world alive. Flu, pneumonia and other viral diseases cause many deaths every year too, especially the elderly. We aren’t masking and quarantining ever time someone presents with symptoms. It’s part of the cycle of life, the elderly and people with other serious health conditions are the most at risk. Don’t let politicians make you fearful and CONTROL your life with false narratives, research the facts and consult your doctor. Unfortunately a lot of our institutions have become politicized.
Should we stop driving to work now too? Many people die every year commuting.
“The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released its early estimate of traffic fatalities for 2021. NHTSA projects that an estimated 42,915 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes last year, a 10.5% increase from the 38,824 fatalities in 2020.”
"or they'd have simply been fired rather than being put through an expensive RTO process."
Expensive for whom, smarty? T is laughing all the way to the bank.
Write & call your state legislators to outlaw authoritarian mask & jab mandates. It worked in TN, & MT!
Dude, no one's mandating them anymore... these effin' people do on their own.
Covid could be the wild card to stop RTO in its tracks!
Yeah, be careful there... people keep pushing this Covid issue, the only thing they will get on top of RTO is the so-called "vaccine" mandate again. That would so much better, for everyone, right?
Oh really? Covid? Like, Covid 19?
Yes, it's still out. It will always be around. For the rest of our lives, covid will be around. Throw away the stupid mask (you look like a tool), and live your life.
I got "the scary Covid" just a month ago. Took some NyQuil, and gone over it in 3 days.
It's no more scary or dangerous than flu at this point.
I hear they are trying to legitimize a sham company that supposedly can identify the covid virus from sewer samples to detect outbreaks.
If that's the case you can bet Blackrock's Bi tch Stankey will be having Corporate Real Estate contract to examine all of our shitpipes.
Perhaps they should make us WFH until this "pandemic" is over. 😏.. 😉
It hasn’t been anything more than a cold in the past two years, but keep living your life in fear over nothing if it makes you feel better.
See how you feel after you’ve had long term COVID.
OMG. Someone creating a reason not to RTO. Lol
“ In California we receive emails when someone who has been in the office tested positive for Coronavirus. Not sure I believe the statement that you are not told.”
Are you in ATL? Do you think different offices in different states send out different notices? Have you ever noticed message such as “do not forward?” The world revolve around you? - fellow CA employee

Protect yourself. Protect your family. Get vaccinated.
RTO makes the company liable. Make them pay.
covid, in various forms, has been around forever. Covid-19 at this point is just a common cold. Whats next? You need to stay home because you have a hang nail?
