I was in UM Medicare laid off. Was gonna apply internally for done jobs but scared they will be laid off next round / or in a few yrs. Which depts are safe??? Is CM a good area?

I can't imagine any department is completely immune to layoffs.
I'm in UM Medicaid, so probably up in the next round or two of layoffs...
We are slammed with work right now but I know they are (have been) working to outsource our production. They have to, thanks to their epic mismanagement. They want to remain profitable for their shareholders, damn the consequences :(
