Unemployment Benefits

Has anyone spoken with Washington State unemployment office on this yet? With the current severance package they are doing continuation pay over set number of weeks, once garden leave ends and severance benefits start. Are we eligible for our full Unemployment payments while we receive our weekly severance continuation payments in Washington State?

Any update on this? My separation date is 12/4 and I'm trying to figure out when I can file for unemployment in WA.

I'd appreciate any guidance as I have never filed for unemployment before. Thank you!

Each state is somewhat different on their requirements and timelines, however I was told by the Missouri unemployment office to file the application for benefits now (my separation date is 11/2) so I'll be ready to file my initial request for payment once I reach my separation date. WARN pay counts as income, separation pay does not.

File for unemployment during the last week of garden pay (60 day warn).

Not the week after.

I tried contacting the Washington Employment office on the web. Unfortunately, I was one of the people from T-Mobile who had their identity stolen during COVID by A-Holes filing fake unemployment claims.

I am planning to contact the unemployment office in the next few days to try to figure this out also. Needing to make sure I get all the coins due after what this company put me through!
