Anyone getting any positive feedbacks/responses on redeployment opt-in? During last TA office hour I heard bunch of people complaining that they have received any response after opt-in.
A applied for few positions without opt-in and got rejected from 1. Not sure could be the reason.

I did have an interview, meeting and she did reach out to a few of the jobs I applied for. As to the reason why I would work for them again...it's a secure paycheck.
Meanwhile Gail has over $90 million in stock and options. Check out the latest filing. I almost fell over. I knew she was paid well, but no idea it was that well. This is in addition to her high salary and bonus. So, yes, the company needs to cut costs to support that enormous expense. She isn’t the only executive level with tens of millions in stock plus pay and bonus.
I heard there was a hiring freeze & a freeze on promotions, yet I get open position alerts in Workday every week & I’ve reached out to the hiring manager & she did not say anything about a hiring freeze. She gave me the information I requested about the positions. Most open positions are for auditing on the Carelon side.
I opted in a got 2 meetings so far. I will be opting out as I need a break from this place. I will use the severance period to upgrade my skills and look for something else. If nothing else work out I will consider going back while I look for another job.
Why the ell would you want another job in this hole
Redeployment program is of no good. Only to look nice on books. I reached out to few teams and it seems like there are hiring freeze everywhere though positions are open on career portal. Even SVP directed for hiring freeze as they knew it’s coming. Getting much faster responses from external positions. So better to invest time to upgrade your resume and go for next opportunity.
I applied for a few internal positions last year before i left the company and was appalled by how often i was ghosted. I can’t imagine what external candidates are going through. Anyways, don’t expect much and good luck.
From what I know, you are on your own to find another internal position within the company. The only people I know that landed positions under redeployment after being riffed were the ones with connections elsewhere in the company and they got the prior management connection to save them. Based on the number of rifs and the departments with hiring freezes, I am expecting most will not be able to land internal positions. Unless you have specific high demand knowledge or need grandfathered benefits continued, I would spend my time searching externally for opportunities.
So if you’re not offered a position internally by your laid off date (10/20) would you still get SUP/severance?
I’m a people leader and I had someone who had been laid off with a last day of October 20 reach out to me last week asking if I was hiring because their redeployment person had not gotten with them yet. I think that like the rest of us they are way understaffed.
The program is absolute and utter garbage. You basically apply for jobs and they encourage you to send an email to the hiring manager and they’ll do the same. According to the packet they help you find roles but that’s not true. I had one meeting with by TA and she confirmed that most the work is on me. I’ve contracted her and no reply after that. Think about it. They laid off a LOT of people. These TAs don’t have capacity for the volume plus there’s a freeze for hiring and many jobs were taken down.
Somebody needs to care for the top 1%. That is until they use their wealth to build robots to take all the service jobs too.

Sure we need more construction, leisure and hospitality workers, have 10 million jobs open.
So you open H1B visa in STEM and tech to replace us, and we are just trying to survive so many layoffs and outsourcing.
I signed up for redeployment 5 days ago and no response. Not sure it’s really a thing. There’s feels like there’s no hustle on their part. Sure nice they get to stay employed.
