Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Has All 2000 people been notified?

This is so sad. Centene worker for 5.5 years. So sorry for all who lost their job senselessly

Is this round finished?

As someone who was laid off in a previous round - there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is brighter than anything Centene can offer. Find a job where you are just not a number. I enjoyed working for one of the companies Centene purchased, but once we started falling under the Centene umbrella it went downhill fast.

My department said they will not be telling us who was let go. They said the individuals are free to tell us, but management is not naming names.

When will everyone be notified of who will no longer be with the company? Or do we just wait to see after 12/8

Thanks for responding. I’m a PC in Texas and almost entire team was laid off to include our Team Lead! I was not laid off and Manager told us our department completed Layoffs

Ops... this "week's" layoffs, not weekend. I don't want to start any new rumors, we have had enough lately!

Hopefully, they said layoffs would occur between the 2nd and the 5th, so it should mean only ppl they could not reach (out on PTO/sick) would be the only people still needing to be notified.

But then again, 2,000 people is a lot, so maybe some departments still haven't gotten around to finishing it all.

I also hope the departments had a meeting with the staff that is remaining to tell they they are "safe" from this weekend's layoffs.

Our department did and I thank them very much. And they did it on Monday, so we didn't have to keep worrying all week long.
