Are November layoffs a certainty?

I will say for the THIRD TIME now, that “official” layoff rounds are DONE. WILL. NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.
In place of this, as I have said, we will have rolling (continuous) stealth layoffs happening day by day, week by week, month by month.
It is no longer a layoff day or week. It is layoffs happening every day. People getting fired so that the company doesn’t have to pay unemployment or severance.
The layoff strategy resulted in such bad press so that now the tactic has changed, and not for the better. It also results in the company saving a lot of money on severance payouts and such.
The other tactic as said is to get people to resign on their own, by creating a nasty, toxic, hostile environment.
So between these two new tactics, the employee reduction goals will continue to be met. And hiring will selectively happen where absolutely needed.
Well people are giving their resignation notices, all over in some depts. Also management is pushing people out through various sketchy approaches, even to top performing "award" winners from not so long ago. So to the "ZERO layoffs" comment, just be aware there are other ways staff are being cut at Alteryx right now.
How many weeks until their earnings call? that's when it went down the last 2 times so maybe now mgmt is trying to be more 'stealth'. Mgmt is busy 'building their brand' not the companies and not building their team up, just all about themselves.
Confirming 100% there are ZERO layoffs associated with upcoming earnings.
Haven't seen much about the Channel/ partner org. In fact I have seen that group do much. Leadership there is quiet as a anything. Anyone know what is happening there?
THERE WILL BE NO MORE FORMAL LAYOFFS THIS YEAR. There may be some isolated incidents of low performers and others being let go, but no waves of layoffs like what happened in April and August.
The company is moving back to a building mode and is bringing in new blood to begin moving forward.
I think we can all agree this is the first time on this site in 2023 where there has been disagreement on whether layoffs are looming. Hopefully the people who said there won’t be more layoffs this year are true.
@Nobody - please reach out to a mental health professional. I was there a few years ago and low dose depression meds helped pull me out of my dark days. Asking for help is hard, but so worth it. It took me getting to a point where I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning, my memory was significantly impacted, and i was numb to everything around me. Please, don’t be afraid to seek help.
Mentally I'm not there at all. Anxiety is sky high, constantly in fear of ' will I be next to be made redundant'... my manager is fake and only thinking about himself and with all this stuff happening at home with personal issues, I'm surprised I've not topped myself yet. I'm now taking off sick leave and not even sure if I'll be made redundant because of my sick leave.
Been at Alteryx for 5 years now and I've never felt like this.
There are more people leaving on their own, don't mix that up with rolling layoffs.
I said weeks ago that there would be continuous rolling layoffs, basically going forward.
I concur that it has been happening.
It's funny how everyone says people are trolling or the layoffs aren't happening yet this sub has been 3 for 3 on predictions. Oh and friends in certain departments have told me that plenty of people have been quietly been let go for the month of October already. Wake up people.
I can very reliably "second" the statement that there will be no more layoffs happening.
I can 100% confirm that additional layoffs WILL NOT BE HAPPENING the rest of this calendar year.
Is Doniel responsible for the coming layoffs?
Well I know for a fact layoffs ARE NOT happening. I can guarantee you that, but I just can't say how I know but just trust me you are safe....
You are fully and completely WRONG. Your anti-layoff trolling won’t work here. Go somewhere else, L0ser.

Will the people who seem confident that there’s a November layoff please say how they know? Otherwise you’re just trolling to create more uncertainty.
Hello Fool, why do you think regularly accurate posters here would post their sources and give themselves away by being able to be identified?
You are more clueless than we thought.

The AYX c-suite team doesn’t even know about this site. If they did, they wouldn’t care. Same goes for HR !! Who cares what a couple of disgruntled employee trolls say, anyway? lol!

Depends on if Mark approves of your hair or not.
This board has an amazing record of correct statements well in advance, when it comes to layoffs and such. Disbelieve at your own peril.
No it hasn't. They only thing people say are "layoffs are happening".
No one can every specifics of how many or what departments are being affected.
What about people who joined from Adobe?
What departments are targeted for the November RIF or will it be across the board? Will this one impact the exec team finally, what about non-technical managers?

Anyone posting here saying they know for sure a layoff is happening are probably just trolling
Yes, as is the sale of the company. The stock price keeps going down after each earnings release, at this point it will be at the IPO price.
