Do any of you have any compassion for the people in this country that have been enduring uncertainty and massive layoffs for several years? Centene has actually been very good in that they have not laid off more people. But just in case you have had your heads that far in the sand for the last 2-3 years, America has had major job losses in many sectors, and they are still on-going. Layoffs are never fun, but they are an unfortunately a reality , how you choose to move forward is only dictated by you. You don't have to become a victim you can rise and conquer, lemonade from lemons and all that if its your thing.
I dont think it's over for this round. If you aren't laid off by Thursday and still employed on Friday then you made it this round. Second round is reported to be between February and March of 2024. Not sure how many will be laid off.
Another poster stated 9,000 total including first round in August, Second round October 2023 (2,000 lay offs) then the upcoming one in 2024.
Everyone should get their resumes ready.

There's multiple more rounds of this. Stop living day-to-day and week-to-week with your emotions.
And IF you make it to February, there's no guarantee this won't happen again next year months after our abysmal STAR Ratings come out.
My team said it was over for us, this round. We had a 15 person hit.

Last week when Sarah's email came about the leak, our regional director sent out an email stating our team was safe. Basically everyone on my team has been acting as if everything is fine. I'm in NY, UM.
These people are delusional.
Yes, they are backfilling positions on my team as I write this.
They think because we are NY we are safe.
We will be outsourced as soon as they have the processes in place.
It is NOT over. Without question. No doubt and I know that for certain.
While it may be over for some teams, there are still more coming this week. Often leadership roles trail individual contributor notifications.
Who knows it not like leaders share with us 🤷🏻♂️
