9 months pregnant so that’s fun.
It seems like a lot of folks going on Mat leave or FMLA were let go.

FMLA doesn’t have job protection if your position is “eliminated”
Fmla doesn’t protect from job elimination. Get the facts.
6 months pregnant here and also let go. More senior member of the team. It was random, some more senior than I stayed and a lot of newer employees too. Our team was cut by about 60%. Supervisors have been very kind, manager hasn’t said a word besides his script during the layoff meeting. Pretty disappointed in how this all went down. Mentally draining for those impacted and even those not. Now that our team is so much smaller, the supervisors who had to make these calls are likely to be laid off in subsequent rounds of layoffs, they just aren’t needed anymore. Just my opinion.
Being on FMLA protects you from getting layed off i think. I had a previous mgr tell me years back when i was on FMLA.
I'm so sorry. Despite this very stressful time, I'm wishing you a very safe and easy delivery and recovery!
May God give us all the strength to get through these times
Your being pregnant doesn’t make you any more or less likely to get cut. The way this post was written, it seems that’s something you’d like to believe. If you think it’s true, take it to attorney. Guarantee they’ll say you have no case.
But in the off chance you are correct, sue CNC. You’ll be worth a couple million.
Well, our team has someone about to go on maternity leave and they weren't touched but the most senior member of the team...me, was. Decisions appear to have been made in the upper levels of mgt. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason for who was chosen... My last eval was Exceeds Expectations and my mgr was pushing for a promotion. Says they had no clue, no input and were only told Monday afternoon for a early Tuesday meeting.
Hope all works out for you.
I thought fmla had job protection?
Better things will come your way; this is an opportunity for something better..
I am so sorry and I hope all goes well with you and the baby
