How do you lay people off without consulting their managers? Who knows them better and the contributions they make to their team and the company? This makes absolutely no sense. You can't get rid of people based on a few numbers on some piece of paper and expect it not to harm the business.

I was laid off and no one at the health plan knew anything about it, but now they're left scrambling to figure out who is going to take on the extra work in my absence. to top it off the VP who I spoke to, specifically said "not to tell" like they're trying to hide their shady term decisions.
I was laid off and my PL didn’t know or maybe played d-mb (he asked me where I was after I logged off).
Not sure what is happening but don’t trust anyone.
That s the way Centene operates under Sarah, they just made decisions and let people figure it out later, as if it was ok
