No. Was told to expect a letter in workday. It was there within 15min or so.
7 weeks for 3 years service. UM Nurse
FTE for 14 months, got 7 week’s severance

I got 13 weeks after 10 years of service.
Health Net Federal Services employees had a severance policy prior to Centene acquiring Health Net - that severance policy was included in their federal contract so those packages were mandated and non-standard. Non HN Fed Services employees follow Centene's standard policies. Severance is based on a) length of time with the company (including time with acquired company before the merger(s)) b) level and type of position. The max I have seen is 6 mos & this is for people with 12+ years.
I worked in federal side a few years back and got laid off. I was an employee for 4 years and was eligible to receive 6 months of severance (which I did receive in a lump sum) and people who were there for 1-2 yrs could get 3 months, 3+ years could receive 6 months, 5+ years 9 months and 12+yrs 12 months of severance or something along the lines of that I forget the numbers. So seeing that people have been here for years can only receive a few weeks?! Was it because I was in federal services that we could receive that much or did Centene just change and get greedy?
Hey @end I do not think people expect 'reliable' source here - we use this for inference - you can read between the lines and decide if a post is legit or not, you may be wrong but I'd bet you'd be right much more often. Works for me and it's much better than not having any info at all.

I wasn't looking for anything official or specific when I posed the question, just wondered if anyone was told how they came to the amount of severance pay they're being offered? It's often "x number of weeks' pay times your years of service" or "x number of weeks' pay depending on your job level."
This feels like Phishing for info to me.
If you need "documentation" you need it from |reliable sources" and the actual documents, not comments on an anonymous forum. Call a lawyer...
I really hope people will chime in, we need this for documentation purposes and to be able to gauge if people are treated fairly across the board.
Also, there will be more layoffs and this thread can be a baseline for them so they can know what to expect (or what the situation was in the past).
