Michael grew the company aggressively, but thinking that Sarah was going to make Centene better is just biggest idiocy of the world, how in the universe Sarah , who is a sales person, that hasn't ever run a health plan, that doesn't know sh-t about Stars and quality, that hasn't been part of a bid process, who i is just talking head that can't make good decisions, she hasn't even managed to keep the few good executives that could have helped her to fix the mess, she has made it worse, and honestly speaking all this layoffs in a very irresponsible manner not taking into account the operation of the business, may have a bit of an impact on the SG&A, but it will back fire big time, the few people left may hold the tent for a bit, but this place is about to implode and Sarah and her arrogant and mediocre decision making process is going to destroy this company, the only people who can stop this and bring some stability is the board, and they seem quite dormant.
Michael drove this company into the ground focusing on growth and acquisitions. What we are experiencing at this very minute is mostly if not entirely the result of his leadership. Not saying Sarah is going to fix it, but she didn’t gobble up all those companies. She didn’t ignore system/process/team told duplication. He did that.
Michael basically died working, Sarah wormed into that job, that hand off was not right, so there they are the consequences
Dude, Michael retired because he was terminally ill. Nobody was trying to force him out.
Sarah is a clown and puppet, but she makes decisions, and the ones she has made, are being disastrous for Centene.
Yup, activist BOD
