Given that several states are in RFP next year, any unfavorable news means already 6k to 8k jobs on the line plus ancillary support so expect it to be the biggest cut by summer 2024.

It took me 3-4 months to become proficient in UM. Over a year to be really good. Even now I don't know some processes...and they continually change!
If they let us go to outsourcing, I cannot imagine the "quality" will improve. Isn't that what they were crying about at the town hall?
What a joke.
When RFP isn't successful, no need for UM or TAT metrics, there is no money coming so best to close the shop

And now they will be screaming because TAT will not be met. It takes a long time to train a new nurse in PA. When the team is short staffed it is creates a much bigger strain to take a nurse out of production to train.

RFP means Request for Proposal. It's when we're bidding to win contracts from different states.
What is rfp?
They are firing many but will turn around a yr later and. be short staffed. UM got hit hard this round. So called leaders: You need UM! Fire them now and later be in dire need makes no no sense. . It’s a cat chasing tail. Stop being reactive and plan strategically. It cost $$ to advertise new jobs, train etc.
Polish up your resume and get the he-l out of dodge unless you have a significant amount of tenure with the company.
