I’m a Director at one of the health plans. Have heard nothing from my PL and nothing from my Medical Director. The silence is deafening.
I’ve heard from nearly all of the members on our team of 45 that they’re concerned for their jobs. I have nothing to tell them.
I have no piece of mind for myself. Silence is not leadership. Leaders confront problems and speculation with truth.
Good news your team is not impacted. If they were you would know and complete the notification by today.

Who treats people like this??? All so the big wigs can get bigger. Hoping karma hits these people one day.
During the last round the direct supervision for the members laid off weren’t even told who was being let go until after the meetings started with the next level managers. They were given no input or discussion on where the cuts would be made. I am four days from the end of my time at Centene and still haven’t been instructed to notify the clients I speak with on a monthly basis that I will not be speaking to them again. I think I know why we have a STARS issue. They care for no one but the bottom line.
All of this is why I will be polishing up my resume. Even if I have a job after this, I refuse to work for a company that operates like this.
Reading the script verbatim is reminiscent of the "drink the Kool aid" vibes I got from Centene when we worked in the office. But I think PL are doing it because they were ordered to and fear for their jobs as well. This is he-l
