Safe to assume there won't be bonus on top of the severance? It's just weekly payout * X Weeks?

"They robbed you. Others are getting 3 weeks for each year..."
I'd ask how long had they been with the company? There may be a minimum severance amount and that's what it works out to for them or state laws. 2x or thereabouts seems to be the most common I've heard from people who have actually received their package.
But hey, if they got 3x, good for them!

Departure packages are dependent upon your position (grade) and longevity with company. I don't know what anyone else got, don't really care but from my experience the severance package is pretty decent. I basically got 2 weeks X years of service rounded up + bonus. Not exactly a golden parachute but with any luck enough that it should be more than enough to not have to dip into savings before finding something else not to mention 2 months notice to prepare.
I am almost 5 years and I got 12 weeks. Yes to bonus if paid out.
They robbed you. Others are getting 3 weeks for each year worked at the company. You should have gotten 33 weeks of severance.

24 weeks severance... little over 11 years with the company.
I can confirm, if you're eligible (9 months employed) then you're eligible for bonus. While I won't reject the money, I think it is poor optics to be paying out bonuses(to anyone) while letting people go.
Sorry to hear. I have a meeting today myself.later. how many weeks in severance did they offer you and how many years have you been with the company?
I was laid off today too and was offered X amount of weeks plus bonus
If you qualify for bonus, it will be paid out accordingly.
