They need to wipe out the UX department and marketing. No one at the company understands how to market or even spell NaaS. No one knows what the industry is doing. We are just chasing and being reactive. We aren't disrupting anything but ourselves at this point. Ask anyone in marketing. Ux ,Dx etc what we sell and no one can tell you. But those people are entrusted to both build customer and marketing journeys. It's really a joke.
We need to learn how to make the products work together. Everyone is so silo'd it stupid.
Products surviving off one or two customers.
The entire lot of evp/svp
should be shown the door... all they do is dream up more metrics that they want everyone to work against and the associated reports that they think they need to pass down and have stupid decisions made.
Don't we have a CTO? Maybe real technology decisions should be made somewhere in the CTO stack with a group of real technologists.
Not trying to invent buzz phrases and technologies that no one wants.
Science Experiments, that's a good one!
NaaS, Exaswitch- if the CFO can't pinpoint the real upside they will bring, they are science experiments (at this point).
The Edge went bust before it created new revenue. These may share a eerily similar fate. Why is it that there are so many SVPs but no comprehension of the market?
Interesting listen... But noticed the buzzwords keep creeping into everything...
- Brene Brown and Dare to Lead... this lady needs to pay us b/c we do a lot of advertising for her
2a) NaaS - associated with the made up slogan "disrupt the telecom industry" sounds like another stupid made up slogan by Lumen, "the 4th industrial revolution".
2b) Exaswitch - similar to our "Edge solutions" under a "build it and they will come" model unfortunately, they never came
Has there been any real news in the industry about NaaS and Exaswitch outside of the Lumen press releases?
Sounds like there are financial players willing to work with Lumen to refi/rework debt obligations.
New ERP to fix inefficiencies that will be fully online in 2025 along with a 2 year journey to improve customer performance. Let's hope they can fully get these great tech solutions implemented 100%, and retire the old solutions before the next wave of departures and RIFs.
Did this conference give anyone the warm & fuzzies?
