Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

The morale is at the bottom right now

We are making a lot of money yet employees are getting squeezed left and right. With high oil profits layoffs should not remotely be talked about. The executives get paid big money yet the employees keep suffering. Things are falling apart her fast and those at the helm are steering us towards the iceburg

This deserved a position on the top. @6kmz+1oNu6jnV said it perfectly.

Yeah, morale is right down there at the bottom of the toilet along with an unflushed tu-d covered over with a little toilet paper. Does that paint the right picture for you?

Senior management isn't interested in your morale. If you leave, they will find someone else to use for a few years until they become disenchanted and leave. Only 10 to 15% of the people in the organization actually have a career where you are promoted or moved around. The remainder have a job. It pays well so save your money and brace yourself for the axe man.

Pay should be market competitive at all levels . Nothing more or less. Profits should be returned to the stockholders in the form of dividends and reinvestments in projects yielding highest returns thus increasing stock values. Quit wasting my money on virtue signaling. Get back to work.

Nothing to do with CTC and HR. If anything CTC is brutalized all the time. Severely understaffed and under appreciated. The major issue is management has gotten greedy and cut too much and changed too much.
