How many have been laid off? And what areas.
@Be kind the package I in the mid year layoffs was 12 weeks.
Any idea what the severance packages are?
What a wonderful place to work. I can tell how much they value us. Why bother listening to the virtue signaling by the company? You can say you are a great place to work, how much you value us, but your actions speak volumes. I'm out!
Late October is going to be mass layoffs. The end of the year won’t be bad, much lower percent of below than what was required mid year. We did that to not have to report layoffs. The layoffs will happen in October to ensure that the 60 days don’t count on the 2024 budgets. Your question should be how do I get out of here because next year is going to be ugly also. CO will do what they need to do to stop the stock from crashing down more that what is has already. You don’t matter. When you accept that the better off you will be.
What area had the layoffs on Monday? A lot of people said they were impacted but there isnt too much detail into what areas were hit this round.
Any excuse to lay you off basically. Update resume and apply elsewhere. Move to a better company.
Sounds like it’s going to be rough end of year.
Laid off Monday. My performance rating has been strong, been with the company 10+ years.
One tip, don’t stick around for calibrations. They’re using you to save the protected class. If you leave before calibration then the protected class will have to calibrate amongst themselves.
Mass layoffs for Below Strong and next year PIP & Coaching Plans combined to force more layoffs. This year it doesn’t matter if you worked hard and produced a lot for the company. It will be a squeeze to get most out of you and then lay you off.
The people who will not be laid off are the politics playing leaders and their friends.
Look out for number 1, you, and find a better company.
it’s going to be brutal
