Well, thanks to this website (that I found last week), I knew that when I got the email 'check in please prioritize ' I was on the list. My PL said last week she knew NOTHING and that everyone was fair game. Not one word from anyone else on my team or from my PL if anyone else was let go.
The person giving me the news arrived late to the meeting, was half-heartedly reading the script and then tried to wrap up saying she had another meeting and if I needed something I could email. My PL did not attend and has not reached out to me. 7wks severance, last day 12/1. What a mess.

Wow. So impersonal and heartless. They couldn’t even give you the courtesy of arriving to the meeting on time and giving you an opportunity to ask questions. I’m so sorry OP. I know this entire situation is overwhelming and very scary for you. I’m really sorry!
